The Attleboro Families Forward is a city-funded program
to assist public housing tenants and is operated and staffed by New Hope, a regional anti-domestic
violence and family assistance program.
Nydia Shea is the Coordinator of the Attleboro Families Forward
Program. Her function is to help create a sense of community and also help people
connect with resources. Ms. Shea speaks Spanish and English and can act as a
liaison with the Housing Authority as well as a sounding board and source of advice.
She has a broad range of knowledge concerning domestic violence, family and job
issues and is able to connect residents with agencies that can help provide solutions.
